How much money can you earn?

We cannot predict how successful you may become, but we do get reports that some wallprinters are experiencing a great deal of success. While some are content to operate a small part-time wallprinting business, others have given up their jobs to go into wallprinting full time. Still others have become so successful that they employ several full time crews.

The arithmetic works something like this: Design painters are getting about $150-200 per room just to put on the pattern itself. Since such a job should take no more than two hours (including clean-up), that works out to a gross profit of $75-100 per hour. Entrepreneur Magazine did a study and reported a gross of $72 per hour resulting in a net profit of $60,000 per year before taxes. The study took place in 1983. Based on today's prices, the Entrepreneur study may well exceed $100,000 per year net.

One of the most remarkable things about wallprinting is that it uses so little paint. An entire room can be design-painted using only about one quarter of a quart of paint at a cost of less than $5 per room. With such small overhead, nearly the entire gross profit goes right down to the bottom line!



Although we have presented good reasons for optimism about wallprinting, we cannot guarantee or assure any level of income. Your success in business will depend on you.

No door-to-door selling

One of the nicest things about the wallprinting business is how easy it is to get started. You don't have to become a door-to-door salesman. A small newspaper advertisement with an illustration of a wallprinting machine in operation should bring in plenty of leads. A small ad placed in the paint or wallpaper section of your Yellow Pages may bring calls from people who are looking to hire someone to redecorate. They will be delighted to learn that there exists a beautiful alternative to wallpaper or plain blank walls. Prospects can even be generated without advertising, such as by sending out press releases, demonstrating wallprinting at malls and fairs, and mailing flyers to neighborhood homes and businesses.

An extremely effective way to develop business without advertising is to decorate a free wall in a retail store (beauty salon, furniture store, real estate office, doctor's office, etc.) or in your church, in return for permission to hang a small poster stating "BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THIS IS NOT WALLPAPER - IT'S PAINT." Place your business card on this poster and it will bring you leads from people who are pre-sold because they have seen wallprinting first hand and they like it!

Once you have some leads, it is simply a matter of presenting full-scale color samples of your designs. Beautiful color samples of wallprinting actually sell themselves, especially when your customers realize that they can have any pattern in any color for about one-third the cost of wallpaper.

Once you have completed a few jobs, referral business will become your major source of steady income. People who have had design wallprinting done in their home are so delighted, they go out of their way to brag about it to their friends and neighbors.


Word-of-mouth advertising is the best kind of promotion, and wallprinting generates more of it than any business we know.
